Hillary stumbles at the last moment, maybe after a major debate. Michelle steps in, takes the nomination.

(Sorry, no firm prediction as to if she'll win the general election. But I don't think she could beat Trump.)

The dirty secret is that the Dem party has three wings - the Clinton wing with their roots in the old SLC, the Obama-Kennedy wing with their Kenndyites and Harvahds, and the fringe “let’s just be honest and say we’re commies and socialists” wing led by Bernie Sanders and the Congressional Black Caucus.

The Obamas don’t like the Clintons and the Clintons don’t like the Obamas but the media will cast them as one big happy family when the truth is they aren’t. The Obama wing would love to insert Biden or Warren instead of Hillary because it would perpetuate their own control of the government.

I think the Obamas (and Valerie Jarrett) are slowly undermining Hillary’s campaign and waiting in the wings with their own substitute.

Trump, meanwhile, described that perfectly - comparing Hillary to Petreaus.
