I worked for a HUGE company where EVERY social post (facebook, twitter, etc) had to go through 2 approvals. If my brand wanted to post we sent it to a company PR employee. If he/she approved it was forwarded to an external company that reviewed it again (with rules we provided and limited personal judgement) then posted if it didn’t violate the rules. The external company was the only one that had the password to post so it could not be bypassed.

It was occasionally frustrating (didn’t agree with the rejection or really wanted to post immediately) but most of the time it was posted in 15-30 minutes any time of day and rejections were welcome (saved us from something stupid/embarrassing).

I would recommend that any politician or famous person or company adopts that strategy.

Sounds like a good system. Other then FR I don’t post which is an excellent system. lol.
