I like this statement. It makes the Liberal Republicans in Washington sweat a little bit.
They know if they screw over The Donald they’ll actually screw themselves.
He has called her a criminal and said she should be prosecuted. He questions whether she will survive to be the nominee. He says he will beat Hillary if she is the nominee.
I agree. I think he would win in a landslide.

You missed the point.
Cruz has raised what 14 million or more from 175k individual donors (grassroots)...he is beholden to those donors every step of the race, and in so much as he is going to have to answer to them when he starts implementing his policy. A self financed Trump run, omits that reality. Its convenient right now for Trump to not have to compare those #’s, or in the future if he decides to go rogue. Having individual donors beating down your door later to keep a candidate to his promises, disclosing them matters.

Trump has said on numerous occasions that Priebus and the RNC have been very supportive of his Campaign.

IMHO - The first Debate will have record viewers and it will separate the Wheat from the Chaff. In another week, the entire dynamic could be up ended. Interesting times.

Maybe Cruz will be the outlier, he is still my top choice. My point was that most politicians once elected, will forget about their donors once that Lobbyist cash starts coming in.
If Trump takes Cruz, Palin, Walker, and Carson with him, then I’m going 3rd Party as well. I think MANY TV-obeying voters will do so as well (because Trump has been on TV more than any other candidate). I also think the Libertines will follow, since they are often contrarians who enjoy sticking it to The Man. Maybe those 3 factions will be enough to beat the Dem candidate, even with the GOP hyper-loyalists staying with their (not our) Party simply for the name plate. They clearly have no principles anyway.
I will not argue the definition of psychopath.
But I will postulate that Trump has a FAR greater chance of succeeding in a 3rd party race than Perot, thereby putting your "psychopath" in the oval office.

Ross Perot had no intention of winning, and when it looked like he would he withdrew. He just wanted to help Clinton win. Twice. I'm sure there was a quid-pro-quo in there somewhere.
