I hunt food. I will take a trophy of a food species like deer, moose, elk(big rack etc).
I haven’t hunted predators yet. Not going out of my way to.

In African nations where big game is not maintained as they don’t offer legal hunting, and subsequently do not bring in big bucks for their countries, which if the game were hunted and paid for, would make their game valuable. Those nations cannot afford to maintain that game because they place on it NO VALUE. There is a resurgence of game like lions, black and white rhinos and elephants in areas where hunted is regulated and offered to rich western hunters. Everyone benefits (money infusion into the economy) and the animals benefit. And a village will strip an elephant carcass of meat in a scant few hours.
You have got to be kidding me. What about the MONSTERS killing babies so they can sell the parts to buy a Lamborghini?

Animals hunted and killed in the US each year include, Moose, bear, mountain lion, minx, buffalo, wolf, pig, beaver, martins, fowl, seals, reptiles, etc....and I’m sure allot of them are cute cuddly looking beasts.
Why would Trump or anyone else with common sense be against big game hunting? The African countries depend upon game hunting for jobs and income. The economics of big game hunting and safaris are a boon to the economies in those poor countries.
The people themselves of Zimbabwe are wondering what the fuss is all about over a lion? They are not an endangered species.
