Donald Trump takes centre stage at first Republican debate

Not everyone thinks Mr Trump will play to type. There are those, like Dr Ben Carson, the retired neurosurgeon turned populist conservative who will be on stage on Thursday, who think Mr Trump might surprise everyone and begin the shift from outrageous showman to serious player.

“I know him and I’ve never found him to be unreasonable,” Dr Carson told the Sunday Telegraph from his home in West Palm Beach, Florida, “He’s not going to push everybody out, I don’t see him doing that.

“I find him refreshing. He’s speaking to a need. People are tired of being dictated to by the media and the pundits and he really flies in face of them dramatically. He’s very serious. The media is constantly wrong on that.”

If Mr Trump does stick to the rules, in which candidates give one-minute answers to questions, with 30 seconds to reply to direct attacks, he may only get a total of 10 minutes of speaking time during the 90-minute session.

So while television may be a natural habitat for Mr Trump, as the long-time host of The Apprentice talent show, his opponents are comforted by the fact that Fox News anchors will be moderating the debate – Mr Trump will not be running this particular show.

“Outrageous showman”. They still refuse to deal with the content of what he says, except to mine it for gotchas.

They do the same thing with Cruz. “Bully”. This allows them to write about him, again, without actually answering anything he says.

And what about the corrupt biased MSM moderating the debates?

It's Trump vs MSM/politicians and having the corrupt MSM moderate the debates is like walking into court and seeing the jury made up of the prosecutors family.

This is the biggest corrupt conflict in debate history. We'll watch Trump play this to his advantage. It makes Trump's opponent, the MSM a de facto participant. ☺

What many don’t realize is that Trump has not even seriously started campaigning yet. From reading his books, I see Trump still in the analytical assessment phase. He’s taking the temperature of the country and the other candidates. He is weighing his opposition and will not be shy about exposing where they come up wanting.

He has detailed solutions to problems that he has not unveiled to date that will be coming out in his book, “Time To Get Tough”.

Honestly, if Trump does well in the debate, I could see him virtually putting the election away right out of the starting gate.

My dream is to have Republican debates moderated by 1) Limbaugh, 2) Levin, 3) Krauthammer, 4) Hanson-Davis, and 5) Coulter. We should end the ridiculous idea that only TV media darlings should moderate these confabs. That group would ask tough and serious questions that the MSM people just won’t ask.

Carson is wrong when he says “People are tired of being dictated to by the media.” People are SICK of being dictated to by the GD government against our will.

And if he falters, due to everyone being against him, it will take him a bit longer... he has the staying power to do it!

I predict that Trump is going to take voter fraud head-on, encouraging those who are interested to become poll workers/watchers and general pain-in-the-asses for those who want to fraudulently vote.

As to the behind the scenes fraud, which is probably a much bigger problem, I don’t know, but I doubt that he is going to let that slide either.

The moderators should be completely neutral, not candidate opponents or participant like the biased corrupt MSM. Be easy to get some professional voices to moderate. The MSM and others could just send in their questions which would be asked by the neutral moderators. But having the corrupt MSM running the show is fine too. They're creating their own corrupt circus. Trump will use this to his advantage.☺

The GOPe needs to get it in their heads now that Jeb Bush is a loser. They’re not going to palm off that crap on us this time. They can drop dead.

We shouldn’t expect much result from this theatric enterprize at this stage from any of the candidates except hyperbole from their supporters.

A political commentary on the Fox News 2016 GOP Presidential Debates for next Thursday (August 6, 2015 @ 9:00 PM-EST).

======================================

The 2016 GOP Presidential Candidate field better get ready for a can of Donald Trump's "You're Fired !" ...

Why ?

The "conventional" MSM wisdom is that Trump entered the race on a whim ... and will simply continue his bombastic style at the first Fox News GOP Presidential Debate next Thursday.

That "conventional wisdom" a recipie for disaster for the other GOP Candidates.

Consider this.

Trump's new book will be released next Thursday (August 6, 2015) .... which means that Trump made the "presidential run decision" OVER A YEAR AGO ... to get a book written, edited and published in 365 days.

Indeed, Trump probably had to start the book project at least 18 months ago.

Fast forward to the "politically predictable" first GOP Presidential Debates on Fox News.

Trump has had between 12 and 18 months to secretly prepare for this game-changing debate.

Trump's opponents are all looking for "silver bullet" to nail Trump in the debate, to salvge their own struggling campaigns.

So how does Donald Trump prepare ?

Get 12-18 months of the BEST POSSIBLE briefings on foreign policy, military readiness, economic status, Common Core, Planned Parenthood, illegal immigration crime stats, ISIL, Israel, Export-Import bank, TPA-TTP ... the works ...

and if-when a John Kasich / Mike Huckabee / Marco Rubio type tries to nail Trump on a "technical question" ... Trump blasts them with both barrels with facts and statistics of his own ...

just like a "legitimate" U.S. Presidential Candidate is expected to.

Moreover, Trump has (probably) already secretly created a special campaign website (to be announced at the debate) with an easy simple-to-remember name like "AmericanVictory.org" (as an example).

Fifty million (50,000,000) GOP voter internet visits later ... Trump will have spelled-out (with pictures and quick two minute videos) his "detailed" approach to a dozen different national issues.

Trumps' GOP debate opponents have neither the brains, vision or MONEY to do all that ... except perhaps Ted Cruz.

Finally ... "Yeb Bush" is taken down by Trump with the simple question:

How can you call "immigration an act of love" when X,XXX Americans have been vrutally assaulted, raped, and murdered by illegal immigrants over the last XX years ?

Well ... again, just some personal observations and commentary for GOP political junkies out there.

======================================

Godspeed Ted Cruz and Donald Trump !

Those two are the only ones I'm paying any attention to. The rest aren't even on the radar.
