President Obama argued “these programs aren’t in crisis” while discussing Medicare and Medicaid during his Weekly Address on Saturday.

"If one of the best measures of a country is how it treats its more vulnerable citizens — seniors, the poor, the sick — then America has a lot to be proud of. Think about it. Before Social Security, too many seniors lived in poverty. Before Medicare, only half had some form of health insurance. Before Medicaid, parents often had no help covering the cost of care for a child with a disability.
But as Americans, we declared that our citizens deserve a basic measure of security and dignity. And today, the poverty rate for seniors is less than half of what it was fifty years ago. Every American over 65 has access to affordable health care. .......
And a great country keeps the promises it makes. Today, we’re often told that Medicare and Medicaid are in crisis. But that’s usually a political excuse to cut their funding, privatize them, or phase them out entirely ....."

Technically, I suppose he’s correct. The United States can simply print more money, any amount necessary. Eventually, we’ll be like the Soviet Union, where the money was worthless and people bartered for what they wanted.

Premiums for Medicare are going up for 2016. They are just starting to inform us seniors right now. Part B in particular.
See he uses the term “crisis” but has a different definition in his head than everyone else.
This is how he can rationalize away what normal people would call outright lying.
It’s part of his muslim faith. Al-taqiyaa, Al-tawarya, Al-kitman, Al-murunah. All different forms of allowed lying under Islam. He practices them all.

We’ve got a Federal Reserve that can print money, buy up debt, suppress interest rates all while America briefly has world-reserve currency status.
No, there’s all the money in the world for Medicare and Medicaid and every other leftist social engineering program.
Medicare wasn’t just looted to pay for ObamaCare for young people; the fact is that most of those young people are foreigners trafficked here to keep our schools and housing occupied (the de facto amnesty).
The sad thing is that he thinks he's brilliant for doing so.
