What a hoot to watch pundits clutching their pearls and whimpering for smelling salts aghast over the latest shocking thing Donald Trump said, while The Donald ignores them and continues to soar. Silly kingmakers just dont know what to make of this. Well, we do!

likes, I wish we had an edit function.
Damn that Trump!
Doesn’t he know the only way you’re suppose to attack your enemies is passive-aggressively, so you can take the “high ground” when they fight back!
We do have an ‘edit’ function. It was you who didn’t use it before you hit post.
Palin on Trump go way back with lots of respect for each other.
I am not real happy with her coming out so early for Trump at a cost to Cruz, who aligns with her more ideologically.
I really think Trump will get his clock cleaned in some early primaries and will bail out. His personality will only go so far when it gets down to business with the voters.
Great article. HOORAY Sarah. HOORAY Trump.
I just noticed this morning that clicks on the just closed-down SarahPalinChannel.com are redirecting to the expanded https://www.sarahpac.com/home/ which now includes her SPC videos and other SPC materials for free.
The game is afoot.
CNN was quick yesterday to try to herd the moderates and Democrats away from developing any interest in Trump, using Trumps compliment of Palin to tie him to her as irretrievably inseparable, one and the same.
I was a little surprised Trump took the risk myself if she is so controversial, since he obviously already has plenty of Palin-styled conservative support, and when a perceived link to her might be a turn off that hurts his chances with other voters outside the Palin base.
Great article!
One line ought to go down in history, where she says Washington commentators are sitting around blowing each other’s horns. Perfect! Fits national Republican leadership, too.
the lesson is that in reality, every little thing doesn’t matter to him
the trivial can be ignored
I'm not so sure about that. Sarah is mostly a populist reformer. Trump is running as a populist reformer. Until McCain got a hold of her she was as popular with D grass roots and she was with the R grass roots. If she thinks Trump can clean out the sewer that is DC she'll be all in for Trump.
Sarah was on Mark Levin’s show, yesterday. Great interview. Mark mentioned that HE asked her to be on, not the other way around.
He asked if she would leave open the possibility of running for office again....President, Senator for Alaska (she slammed RINO Murkowski...”ones a RINO”), and she said yes, sure.
At the end of their talk, Mark asked Sarah where folks could find info about what she’s up to, and she specified SarahPAC.com.
I certainly understand your concern. Trump is just being honest with the voters. He likes Sarah Palin, I do not think that is going to cost him much support. But it does show that he is a straight shooter, calling it as he sees it, which is his primary asset at this point. Playing nice to SP might cause some to question his judgment, it surely will enhance his integrity.
Barring some gaffe-tastrophe Trump is running away with the early primary states, according to current polling. His best numbers will be in these early primaries.
Given his already meteoric rise, I don’t know why he felt the need to risk losing votes by bringing up Palin either, unless to cement the arch conservative support. But, he already seems to have that. Maybe his internal polling is not so hot after all with conservatives, I don’t know.
Maybe he seems to think her base waits for her approval and amounts to a larger number than I have ever been led to believe. I don’t know, I would think he would have just surprised the world with sticking her in his cabinet over the EPA, but not not risk using her in an already dangerous campaign.
Thanks for the Update Jane, afterwards I went back and listened to Mark's Interview with Sarah. It was a great one!
This is the best article on the Trump phenomenon I have read. Sarah puts its together in a way only the most astute are capable of doing.
Anyone who claims Sarah is stupid and Obama is a genius is living in an upside down world. This time around the people will speak and they will be heard by the deaf and the dumb.
;-)
Trump’s mentioned the possibility of having Sarah and Trey Gowdy in his cabinet. It will be interesting, if and when the time comes, to see who he mentions as possible VP choices.
