Some losers at DC Comics would rather indoctrinate their readers with politically correct social justice crap than actually write a decent story, because lets face it its a lot harder to write something worth reading:
Yes, Action Comics #42 offer a new and idiotic vision of Superman as an anti-police officer protester.
The new issue comes from the minds of Greg Pak and Aaron Kuder, who have imagined a much darker story for arguably the worlds most iconic superhero. The comic has been making waves for its controversial theme as the parallels to the riots in Ferguson and St. Louis are impossible to ignore.
In the issue, Clark Kents secret identity has been revealed, he has been stripped of most of his powers and hes ditched his tights. Instead, Kent wears just a T-shirt and jeans, along with tatters of his Superman cape over his fists.
The downtrodden hero returns to a town that is fearful of him. Although a group of his supporters decide to celebrate his return, the police department soon arrives to break up the party. One of his supporters gets unruly, the police get angry, and before long, a full blown riot breaks out. The comic ends with Superman punching a police officer in the face.
What the hell, why not? Every other aspect of modern pop culture makes children into lawless degenerates, might as well toss in comics too.
Patrick Colligan, president of the NJ State Policemens Benevolent Association called the comic disgraceful. And hes right. Which is why no one reads comics anymore.
Of course we could just stop buying liberal media products and let them go bankrupt.
Just throwing that insanely radical idea out there.
I guess superman shutting down a PP abortion facility would be too risky....
Kryptonian Lives Matter?
Have all airline flights and ships going to Africa from the United States been cancelled?
superschmuck
Does superman defend criminals of any other ethnicity? If not, he is Racist.
Jor-el weeps.
They alienated me. There is no way I’m going to see the Superman vs Batman movie.
Comics have been used as a medium of liberal propaganda from the start just like TV, music and movies.
In the meantime they are probably more interested in publishing a comic book of heroes fighting the Death Angels. Of course they would reverse the races.
From Amazon books. A customer writes:
This book recounts the horrifying crime spree known as the Zebra killings that happened in the Bay Area in the early 1970's. This spree, committed by black members of an offshoot of the Muslim religion, was done in an attempt for the murderers to win "Death Angel" status. This dubious honor was given to any "true believer" who murdered a certain number of white children, white women, or white men, or a combination of the three. (One received more credit for slaying a child or woman than a man supposedly because it would take more fortitude to do it. However, the author believes [with good reason, I think] it had more to do with the murderers being cowards afraid of anyone who might fight back.) Taking place over several months, the killers took several lives and wounded others in their barbaric attempt to win Death Angel wings. The author does a splendid job in recreating the events as well as allowing the reader to get inside the head of the people who actually believed it to be an honor to murder others. What is even more chilling than the specific Zebra murders is the fact that other Death Angels supposedly existed in California and could be walking the streets even today. For those with a strong stomach wishing to find out about a savage wave of crime (a wave that has strangely been forgotten), this is a must read.
by Clark Howard.
Superman jumped the shark. Which he did easily, but now finds himself with his only friend, fellow pariah Anthony Weiner.
Did anyone notice the price of this POS issue?
Holy Hillary Clinton, Batman!!
I’ve worked in law enforcement for over half my life. The only boycott I’ve ever endorsed was Ben and Jerry’s as well as a rock band who give money to a dirtball cop killer.
My kid loves comics. That said he will not be reading much DC in the future. I refuse to give money to a company that wants to spend their money and time crapping on me.
Bad things can happen with comic books when a shopper is careless with a bottle of ink.
