A 21-year-old Milwaukee man was charged Friday with felony murder in the fatal shooting of Jay Ro, a Burmese immigrant who was killed in front of his family during a robbery.
As they drove around the neighborhood, his passenger pointed out Ro's house, claiming the occupants had money.
Singarath and the other man went to the front door where the other man spoke to a boy in a different language. Singarath said he walked in first, waved his gun and said "Where is the money?"
Ro, 48, and his wife, Ca Na, were in their kitchen preparing a breakfast at their home in the 1500 block of N. 30th St. on June 25 when their 11-year-old son walked into the room with a stranger, holding a gun against the boy's neck.

No comments at the article. Looks like murder 1 to me. The guy did an armed home invasion, and then claimed that “he never meant to hurt anyone”, after he was caught.
Singarath. Sounds Yankee.
wow..around 30th and North avenue.....great neighborhood.
Good point
Of the Mayflower Singaraths, no doubt.
