USFWS may be looking into the importation of the cat’s head or hide. I’ve read stories here on FR about guys spending big money on an African hunt, more money to get it mounted (over there), and then our laws changed and they can’t get their mount into the country.
There is some proposed law (Washington state) that would make it a lot tougher (or illegal) on selling anything with ivory. The NRA is involved due to the ivory grips on some weapons. (It would include sales of old things with ivory).
