He did support single payer in his book published in 2000. However, in his book published in 2011 he says after Obamacare was enacted he can see that it won’t work.
He now supports repeal of Obamacare, allowing people to buy insurance over state lines, and tort reform.
He does insist on saving medicare though.
He is publishing an update to his 2011 book which is supposed to come out tomorrow and should have more detail of his plans.

I am still very concerned about his donations to the Clintons. I would be concerned about ANYONE who gives Bonnie and Clod money.
If I could forgive RR for voting for FDR four times, I suppose I could forgive DT for his past support of Single Payer.
