I was thinking Op Chaos strategy where the party faithful make a big push to turn out the vote for the nominee most likely to lose to Hillary.

I just don't think very large numbers of Democrats are politically sophisticated enough to discern between Bush and Trump; Dumbocraps tend to think D or R, that's it. Plus, switching to Republican keeps them from making down-ticket choices in the Dem primary.

If I read the Florida SoS site properly, the March election is only for POTUS primary and the down ticket primaries are in August.
