U.S. intelligence assessment focuses on cockpit activities of MH370

(CNN)A preliminary assessment by U.S. intelligence agencies, produced in the wake of the MH370 disaster, suggested it was likely someone in the cockpit deliberately caused the aircraft's movements to go off course before the Malaysian airliner disappeared.
Two U.S. officials briefed on the matter said the assessment, which was not intended for public release, was prepared months ago and was solely based on available satellite and other evidence, and not based on more detailed findings by investigators. Another government official said the assessment is the most current view of U.S. officials based on what is known so far about the plane's fate.
The intelligence assessment falls short of establishing any firm conclusions of what happened to MH370. But it could renew focus on the two pilots, or perhaps someone else, in the aircraft's cockpit. CNN reported earlier this year that U.S. intelligence was leaning towards deliberate acts being behind the plane's erratic flight, but not that intelligence had reached a conclusion.

Based on reports....every single person on that flight has been through an investigation of their background and capability. To take control of the plane...you had to have some basic knowledge. To what they’ve said...we are left with only the pilot and co-pilot ever fitting into that profile. No one else fits. Other than someone being a stowaway on the plane....there’s no other scenario fitting.
Two Muslim pilots. Spontaneous jihad. Case closed. Move on.
Cockpit activities? Like sounds of a scuffle and someone screaming “Allahuh achbar!”? Those kinds of activities?
Hmmm. Now that “they’ve” discovered that it’s possible to “hack” in to certain Chrysler vehicles and GM vehicles through ‘onstar’, is it possible that someone could hack into the aircraft using the onboard computerized guidance system? Seems like the more we “count” on computers, the more vulnerable we become. When the power goes out.............just sayin’.
Ever since the German Wings episode in France...there’s more of a view about mental nutcases making it through the system and not being weeded out. From the review of this pilot and co-pilot....no one has been able to find enough substance to suggest either did anything stupid and ever talked about anything stupid. I’m more likely to believe the stowaway possibility and someone tapping into the hardware from the cargo area and taking control.
I’ve been waiting for someone to ask the geek community if it were possible but you get the idea they’d rather not admit it’s possible.
Not really “mad”, just into a little mischief. Right? Just think if they put their skills to positive use. But, we’ve heard that before.
Follow the virgins...
‘zackly.
Yeah, I hear that millions of Muslim virgins are living in Muslim Atlantis, which is located on the bottom of remote S. Indian Ocean.
This give more credence to the idea that the target was not oblivion, but Diego Garcia, our B-52 base in the Indian Ocean.
To damage it would seriously hamper the U.S. ability to project air power in that area. Especially in the ME and Persian Gulf.
The condition of the flaperon indicates mid air break up.
CNN (Crash News Network) is thrilled to have something to report about.
