Okay. Thinking back, how many presidential nominations has it been since California had a say in the nomination process. I can’t remember it has been so long.

Before Californian’s cast a single vote in the primaries, some guy or anohter has had it locked up.

Perhaps it has been less time than I think, but it seems silly to go this route unless you already know this time it will be different.

Does Rubio know something we don’t?

Putting Rove in perspective he's an annoying self anointed so called voice of the GOP the media worships because he supports liberals.

Putting Rover in perspective he did damage to the Conservative movement inside the GOP by shilling for Bushite Liberals within the party over Conservatives especially under GW Bush.

Putting Rove in perspective you can't turn on FOX News anymore without his mug being on at least one show it seems. I don't care what Rove thinks nor McCain, nor Graham.

Putting Rove in perspective the likes of him is what is wrong inside the GOP and certainly a great example of what isn't right.

Putting Rove in perspective is easy. Whatever he says or supports simply do the opposite and you'll be on the Conservatives side of all issues about 80% of the time. It's as easy as changing channels every time FOX or other news networks bring him on and don't turn back when he is done.

Putting Trump in perspective I look at his overall record on issues the past several election and in whom he supported in the past. No thanks for now as far as Trump goes. Rove however did not influence my choice. Trump did.

Among Republicans, Reagan held California's delegates in 1968 as a "favorite son" when he was still governor. Deukmejian considered in 1988. That's the last I recall. In an open convention, it would carry a lot of weight.

Jamie Dupree, IMO, is as biased and leftwing as anyone else in the media, but tries a little harder to hide it with a veneer of objectivity and earnestness.

I agree. Not sure it should. Unless you can count heavily on crossover votes, the Democrat will win California handily. The Republican candidate won’t even compete here.

Trump takes California by a 10% margin in the general election.

members of the “Trump Legion” must e-mail Fox! “Dump Karl Rove: say no to losers!” he’s all anti- trump, all the time, to get Christie or Bush III into the White House. Remember he was the guy who said Mittens would win—up to the end.

Rove on Greta. Just occurred to me that Trump negative opinions add up to Bush Walker Rubin %

So they vote for Roves guys and then go mark Trump down on opinion area? obvious. Then Rove reports on all these people who think negative of Trump.

Check it out. Am I right or off base?

Check out my post above. Am trying to figure out how Rove manipulates the anti Trunk opinions so he can use them to disparage candidates other than his own. Is it in your book?

I think you’re close to some truths there...but it’s probably more ignorance and less deception than you might believe. Rove has the mind of a tactician, and yet, he plays a strategist. That’s a disaster waiting to happen. (well, it’s already happened).

He also is very unfamiliar with how the country outside the political class, the Washington NY area, think. He really is. He probably believes almost everybody finds Trump offensive.

And another thing, these guys are prisoners of focus groups....which cannot possible predict the impact of a certain message over the months of a campaign, and yet Rove is convinced they can. How stupid....he’s really not smart strategically, because he can only think tactically.

I don’t think they can. This may be the end of Jeb’s candidacy. This is devastating.
