U.S. wildlife agencies will assist Zimbabwean authorities in their investigation into the killing of the iconic African lion, Cecil, according to a published report. The Minneapolis Star Tribune reports dentist Walter Palmer has not been charged in Zimbabwe, though his guide and outfitter have. Palmer, who lives in the Minneapolis suburb of Eden Prairie and practices in nearby Bloomington, said late Tuesday he regretted the animals death, but thought he was acting legally.

Of course they will. Murdering and selling baby parts...move along nothing to see here.
The Race is on!
Who will get to court first? Wildlife agencies pitted against the Cecil killer, or Just-us pitted against PP?
Why?
I must know!
investigation?
Didn’t the dentist guy admit to it?
This is all anti-dentite propaganda if you ask me.
Not one government red cent should be spent on this. None of our damn business. Next we’ll be sending the FBI to London to work on the Jack the Ripper cold case. I repeat, none of our damn business.
This is the biggest Crock of Media BS that they have spoon fed the public in the last 10 years.
I do not think killing for sport is good. Hunting when you are going to eat most of the animal is fine with me. Cecils’s demise is tragic, but I agree with those who think the Mengelesque ‘doctors’ of Planned Parenthood is a bigger issue. Leave the dentist who shot Cecil alone for now... Unless he did something willfully criminal, and not just stupid. Those creepy old broads who call themselves doctors dealing with baby’s organs like they are buying bulk chicken innards to fry are beyond evil.
Is this that lion with the crossed eyes? Dang, I must have seen that movie 50 years ago. I didn’t know lions even lived that long....
In the spirit of Teddy Roosevelt, Peter Capstick, and Rovert Ruark , I just love the story of killing a big lion!
“hush my darling..etc.”
I do not consume the meat of carnivores nor omnivores. All others an kill as they wish...
How about the American Dental Association? I’m sure they’d like to take an African safari on the taxpayer’s dime too.
Agreed.
I think this story has become a parody of itself. There’s so much self righteous indignation among so many people over the killing of a single lion in a hunting incident.
The moralizing of the news media over this is hard to take. People who four days ago had no clue who Cecil the lion was, and who have no knowledge of Zimbabwe hunting regulations, are lecturing us about what a tragedy this incident is. All over the death of an animal.
The hunter guy shot the lion!
There, mystery solved. Everybody can go home.
And from the Guardian of the UK:
http://www.theguardian.com/world/2015/jul/28/cecil-african-lion-import-ban-trophy-hunting
In other words, banning trophy hunting in the USA.
They should spend as much effort tripping to stop the death of a few million babies rather than be worried about some damned lion.
Not really.
Please see the two other article postings on this thread.
Don't miss Jim Corbett's books on hunting man-eating tigers in India either. All great reads. Capstick refers to Corbett in several of his books.
