Amen! If Cruz gives people like her the willies, that would be a good thing.

Another win for Catherine.

One thing I can say for Camille Paglia is that she truly believes what she says. (Unfortunately what she says is frequently wrong).

Not to be swayed but to know why they’ve influenced others and learn how to combat it.

[Biden] handles himself well in debateseven though Sarah Palin defeated him!
______
Paglia is right about that — Palin won that debate.

Yes, thats true, but were still very early in the process. I feel that once we get to the debates, OMalleys actual hands-on, day-to-day experience with complex big-city governance will get traction.
Unfortunately for Dr. Paglia, her party doesn't have enough SUNY-Binghampton grad types in the power positions. The McGovern delegate rules and Super-Delegate revisions favor the established powers (Clinton-Obama people) and racial minorities and feminists (Jesse Jackson etc.). Others can back into the nomination (e.g. Kerry), but only in a vaccuum. The only vaccuum here is the Hillary machine sucking up support and $$$ and keeping the dust mites away. The Dems might know a loss is coming, but stopping the inevitable to avoid bigger losses at the state level might be impossible. Plus, the Dems have NO bench. Anyone reasonably non-Socialist got beat in the last three cycles. Some of the hard lefties who still have respect are in their fourth or fifth scre (Feinstein?! Really?)

I thought it was interesting too. Seems she’s one of the few liberals (maybe the only one?) giving an accurate assessment of Hillary, the Democrat party and modern liberal thought. Nice to see she ignores p.c. rules and speaks her mind.

And few willing to run to fill slots.

You can be intolerant, as well as let them “teach” you how to defeat them.

I plan to vote for Barack Obama in the Pennsylvania primary because he is a rational, centered personality who speaks the language of idealism and national unity. Obama has served longer as an elected official than Hillary. He has had experience as a grass-roots activist, and he is also a highly educated lawyer who will be a quick learner in office. His international parentage and childhood, as well as his knowledge of both Christianity and Islam, would make him the right leader at the right time. And his wife Michelle is a powerhouse. The Obamas represent the future, not the past.
