If I was the hunter's PR person, I'd suggest he release a statement declaring that he will sell the lion's body parts for scientific research.

THAT would be a pure-win comment. It would totally reverse the blame.

Maybe he could start a quick 501(c)3 and name if Planned Lionhood, Where The Circle of Life Begins.
