Obama seemed to think Chicago was going to get picked about four years ago or so. Apparently the bribes weren’t big enough back then. If they do investigate, I’m not sure they’ll want to implicate the current admin doing it.

Qatar bidding for the summer games? So they can get moved to December like the soccer world cup because it’s too hot in summer? That Qatar?

The Olympic Committee needs to pay the host city to host their games. The olympics needs too many venues in one place for it to be cost effective to build for a one-time use.

The Chicago Way. There’s no doubt that the current administration bribed IOC officials. But Brazilians paid more.
