3 rules for young lawyers:
1: Do not pizz off the clerk
2: Do not pizz off the bailiff
3: Never, do not, do not even think about, under any circumstances, pizzing off the judge.
Spit into the wind and step on Superman’s cape before you pizz off a judge.
Judges are not always right.... But they are always the judge!
One of the hardest things for young lawyers to learn is to say,
“Thank you judge.” and like they mean it,
when the guy in the gown knees you in the groin doubling you over at a hearing. (And sometimes it doesn’t hurt to say, “May I have another?”)
These DOJ guys seem to be saying, “Yeah, whatever ...”
It’s a sign of the times/the most transparent admin. ever.
