How can this be? The Trump people just said that he was the one behind getting this done. How could it be being pushed through the Senate without the Donald?

Thoughts:
They should of tacked this on the highway bill and let that idiot in the White House veto. Then come back with a bill that defunds PP and the illegal executive amnesty. After a veto, come back with a bill that defunds Obamacare/IRS and PP and executive amnesty, and so on.
On a pragmatic line, they could have cut the funding to PP in half (a third, forth, etc.) on the transportation bill.
There are numerous approaches that they could have taken, but simply refused. FWIW
How odd. Didn’t McConnell nix a vote on defunding? Did he change his mind?
I doubt there will be the 60 votes in the Senate as Democrats will vote in lockstep in opposition. However, let them balk as more shocking videos are revealed. The American people even many who regard themselves as “pro choice” are incensed. The mainstream media is once again pathetic in its reporting of this story. They have whipped the public into a frenzy over the killing of Cecil the lion, but give scant mention of Planned Parenthood executives nonchalantly drinking wine while they discuss less “crunchy” methods of killing babies so as to maximize the harvesting of their organs.
