I see that you are trying very hard to get a rise out of me, but you won’t. Instead I will say this to you.

If you must cull lions that are killing people, then that action is justified. If you must cull deer that are causing accidents then that action is justified.

It is not wrong to manage animal populations so that they can exist as peacefully as possible with men. We are also part of nature.

But to make a decision to take a life simply for sport is wrong. If the animal is not threatening you and if you do not need its resources to live, then the right decision to make is to leave the animal alive.

This man had no justifiable reason to kill the lion. He murdered it.

If you feel that you must go out and kill animals for no other reason than to make yourself feel better and increase your view of yourself in your own eyes, then you are a hollow and shallow man, and I feel sorry for you, and I have no respect at all for you.

I sincerely hope that you are not such a person.

Lighten up, Francis. I don't hunt for sport. I really don't get the idea of putting a head on a wall as a trophy because I got a gun and the critter didn't.

Just trying to make the point this is such a non-story compared to the awful crap that is happening around the world and here in our own country with abortions and body part sales. It was (1) f*cking lion that didn't need killing, but so what? I'm done - have the last thought if you must.
