I think that you may have misunderstood my position, dfg.
I am upset over the loss of life of the lion. I am also extremely upset over the complete disregard of human life that is occurring in America today.
Clearly what is occurring as a matter of industry in America with Planned Parenthood greatly exceeds what happened with the lion, however, the lion still matters. The fact that the hunter choose to kill this animal for the reason of improving himself in his own eye is tragic.
But I will also say that those people who have remorse only for the lion and none for the wholesale slaughter and selling of babies are totally misguided.
I think that mankind as a whole really needs to take sometime to look at itself and introspect. We are on the wrong path.
I suppose it is a case of all lives matter. Yes, human lives matter more than animal lives, but animal lives also matter.
We are making choices that show to us only some lives matter, and this is how we are going astray.
If we do not correct our course, one day we are going to arrive at a place where no lives matter, and then we are lost.
Hey I'm all for arresting the guy if he broke the law, and what he did was wrong....ok I get it.
But it seems to be a contest as to who can be the most outraged by this.
