Unless that is sarcasm, the death of lion means nothing in the big picture. They, like every other living creatures, die!
The only worthwhile thing this miniscule rock in our galaxy has to offer so far is the human "sentient" being. That above all other Earth creatures makes it THE most special. To hell with the California Delta Smelt and some frigging toad somewhere that is killing the livelihood of some farmer.
BTW, more than some 90% of species have gone extinct than actually live today. So what? We're still here.
No, I am not being sarcastic, not at all, and I am not talking about a fish, I am talking about a lion that was killed for no reason at all by a human being that could have just as easily chosen to let it live.
I am glad that I do not have to bear the weight of making the decision to kill this lion for sport. He will have to bear the burden of the decision he made.
And I don’t agree with anything you said in your post, in fact I think your post is pitiful.
WENDLE is referring to Minnesota dentist who killed Cecil the Lion
I do agree with chris37-the illegal killing of a tame animal in a park does matter-it shows a callous disregard for life in general-and I find that disgusting.
The comparison of infanticide-and using it for profit-to breaking the law on a “trophy hunt” is comparing apples to oranges-I don’t see that they belong in the same discussion, aside from both animals and humans being God’s creatures, and neither is deserving of being killed just to cater to someone’s desire to feel powerful.
The same driveby media and others who are so unconcerned with trafficking in baby body parts would be a howling mob if the body parts offered for sale were those of an adult who had not specified in their will that his/her body go to scientific research after death-especially if the circumstances of that death were the least bit suspicious.
The people at Planned Parenthood should be put under a jail for life with no hope of parole, ever-put them in the general prison population, too-let’s see how well they deal with THAT...
The luring of an animal out of a protected wildlife park and killing it in an inhumane way by some f’ed up individual whose manhood is sadly lacking is illegal and cruel-it deserves a huge fine-and he never, ever needs to be permitted to “hunt” anything-anywhere...
