I like him too but you don’t run your mouth off about how much money you have. It’s really in poor taste. I’ll watch the debates with great interest.
I think he’s doing it deliberately to subliminally battle the media narrative that he somehow has no business running for president that he’s not a serious candidate.
By saying he’s more wealthy than all of them put together he’s really saying “you should be asking if they’re fit to run against me, not the other way around.
I'm tired of successful people feeling they have to apologize for it and trying to play it down. It's refreshing for somebody to come out and say "Yes, I'm rich and I'm successful - got anything to say about it?"
Disagree. Romney tried to hide from his wealth and look where it got him. A coward on ANY subject is still a coward. Trump is right out front with EVERYTHING.
Trumps open references to his wealth doesn’t bother me as much as the behind the scenes/curtain spilling out and gathering of money by very many other political money harvesters. The taste of Trump’s remarks is sweet talk compared to the vile taste of so many of the politicals chasing him.
