To: Attention Surplus Disorder; Servant of the Cross

ASD: I respect your opinion, but totally disagree for this reason: we have NEVER gotten indies and Dems to vote for us when we pretend to agree with them, thus is it foolish and destructive, not clever, to agree with leftist talking points on the crash of 2008.

We only get those folks when we convince them to join us, not when we join them. History is clear. And FTR, I don’t think Trump even understands this. Personal wealth and macro economics are NOT THE SAME thing.

Wouldn’t it be enough (or, at least a good start, or, perhaps as you suggest, the best we can hope for) to mute the tendency of Indies to vote Dem?

I agree with you; nobody votes R by accident. Zillions of people vote Dem by default.
