Where the nation’s capital is concerned, I would have to agree with you unfortunately, but a number of GOP governors and state legislatures are doing a great job.

And I do see big differences between the OWS crowd and the TP.

Please link me to where I said we shouldn’t look at things Trumps has done in the past. Thanks in advance.

Can you link me to five places on the forum where you have praised something Trump has done in the recent campaign cycle?

You’re doing a lot of guessing, and this has pretty much been your success at doing it.

Real Estate was not presented to you as a reason to ignore Trumps donations. It was merely presented to contrast him with Romney. Romeny’s business was not nearly as permit and land acquisition based as it relates to new development projects.

There are many approvals in the Trump type of business. You have to deal with different levels of government, permitting, and a cooperative environment makes that possible.

You and I may not like that, but it is reality.

I haven’t asked you to look the other way. I have merely given you a reason why some of this takes place. I do notice that you look the other way on Trumps Republican donations though. You haven’t mentioned that once.

Romney was involved with many mergers and acquisitions. He was involved with many financings and public companies, all of which require significant regulatory approval. I don’t buy this BS that being in the real estate business means you get a pass when donating to the Dems, ESPECIALLY the Clintons of all people.

You have access to Google I presume. Google Trump’s past political donations. Google Trump’s past positions on any issue you like. Google Trump’s past comments on the Clintons. He was in bed with them. He could still be for all we know. Do your own research. Trump was born into a wealthy real estate family. He has filed bankruptcy. His business track record deserves scrutiny as well as his past policy positions and political donations.

He should be thoroughly investigated and vetted and not held to any different standard than we would use to evaluate any other candidate for the presidency.

World is much changed since Reagan. There was no ISIS, no 911, no China as the world’s largest manufacturing behemoth, and only 3 million illegals. In 1980 we needed Reagan, now we need Trump.

To bad Trump didn’t see a man of character in Reagan.

Yeah, too bad. But that matters how, now?

Problem is DT is no RR.

I see a closer resemblance to DT and RP (Ross Perot)

And btw, I thought RR’s challenges with the USSR were vastly bigger.

ISIS IMHO could be defeated with the swat of a fly if the will were there.

We'll find out soon enough.

The deadline to register for the Texas R primary is Nov 14.

No R or I can win POTUS without Texas' evs.

Trump has been a star on TV for 12 years. His name recognition is like 100 times more than Perot. His personality is 1000 times stronger than Ross Perot. Trump is a foot and a half taller than Perot. Trump can buy 4 Perot’s and have money left over. Ross Perot never polled at the top in the republican field.

You need any more differences?

Is that your source? It seems pretty accurate to me. He's (Reagan) a very smooth and effective performer who won over the American people.

So you agree with Trumps assessment that Reagan was nothing more than a smile?

After 7 years of being pounded by the MSM, the people started to doubt Reagan? That’s no surprise.

So, where does Trump comment on Reagan’s character?

>>>I agree that Trump’s appeal is primarily limited to low information voters. As with BHO, the more information you have about DT, the less likely you would be inclined to vote for him<<<

That’s funny. I see it that the more Information People get about Donald Trump, the more they want to Support him.

I’ll be sure to let my Wife, a newly minted Trump Supporter, that she is just another Low Information Latina.

I preach the Ted Cruz (a Hispanic) Doctrine to her for a Year and she rolls her Eyes at me. She actually watches three Trump Speeches Online, and she NEVER watches anything Political, and she tells me Trump is the Guy.

Heck, she even tells her 82 Year Old Latina Mother about Trump. I almost fell out of my Chair when I overheard that conversation.

Something is going on. I have no idea what it is, but it will either continue or fizzle out in due course.

So far it’s Sizzling, not Fizzling. Only time will tell.

Yes - sadly, I would have agreed with Trump 30+ years ago. But I've had a whole new change of heart somewhere between now and then. People change, and I can attest to that.

Yes, there is a core conservatism that doesn’t have to do with sides of various issues as much as it protects and honors a constitution allowing freedoms for every person his way.

Someone who is a core constitutional conservative wants the country to be run lightly with liberty for EVERYONE. That’s what Mark Cuban means, and that is what we all should be after.

Yes, we want liberty even for the people we don’t agree with. Hippies, socialists, atheists, transgenders, people who want every inch of their bodies pierced. It’s about getting rid of the current actual tyranny (government corruption), as well as its little sister, the Political Correctness of Social Shaming.
