RE: Why would you want a man that is not qualified to hold the position of Deacon (I didn’t say holds, but is qualified to hold) in his Church to sit in the Oval Office?

Ideally, we want a man who is CONSISTENT in all ways, private and public. THAT should be our ideal.

Unfortunately, we are often not given such choices.

Therefore, we have to choose the less perfect person as long as his policies are right for the country.

King David would not have even made Deacon in a church with his dysfunctional family, but I sure has heck would not want anybody else to be King of Israel then.

ROFLOL.

So I have to vote for a Serbian Orthodox candidate who goes to confession weekly and has a degree in theology . . . who also believes in limited government. That limits my choices.

Or does it only count if they are qualified to be a deacon in YOUR church?

There is nothing in these requirements that a man with wisdom and morals should not be able to achieve as such a man should and would have should have humbled himself and ask for the forgiveness through the Grace of God.

Do I think a great leader must have lead a prefect life no, but I think a good leader can be a man who has failed at some of the things listed, but has seen the light repented sought forgiveness and correction and learned and better himself through those mistakes.

Keep choose ungodly men to lead and you will keep getting the same results no matter their promises nor their party that is the way it is and has always been.
