I read the other day that Israel had “lent” a squadron of attack helicopters (apaches that they had retired from active service) to Jordan to use in protecting itself from ISI5. Did anyone ever think they’d see Israel arming an Arab neighbor? Strange times.

There is a lot going on that we don't know about.

Israel has bilateral talks, if not relationships, with Egypt, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia. Ironically all three of these countries were big bad Jew haters until the US switched sides. Now they are looking at Israel as a country with whom they have common interests.

There is a lot at stake for Israel also. Think of what the use of one Saudi air base would mean if Israel decided to attack Iran. I think it would mean victory.
