I’ve paid a barber exactly one time in almost 50 years. I really needed a hair cut and my wife was in the hospital.

of course I always cut hubby’s hair, and two kids...one time my son was 16 and said he wanted to go to a ‘real hairdresser’ so when I took him I told him he had to pay, from his summer time job money and to be sure and tip...
He comes out of salon, said that is B. S. she cuts the same as you and I don’t pay 20 bucks...so no more of that..you’ll do MOM...
