Cornyn has only been interested in building his own power structure, even when he and Kay Bailey were tag teaming. My concern, if Senator Cruz does make it to the White House, is that we will end up not only with Cornyn as Senator but that the other one might be someone like Dewhurst who is obviously waiting in the wings. Been down here thirty years now and seems like we’ve never been blessed with two Senators who put the interests of their constituents ahead of their own.

Or you could do like my family members and not vote for anyone. There was no way he was going to lose and I do know that there were some comments by one of his staff members about the fact that Cornyn’s total vote tally was some less than it was for other Republican candidates.
When the dust clears -— count on it -— Cruz is rught, to which recently the New York Slimes and Mitch McChinless have been schooled.
Our family didn’t vote for Cornyn, Olson, our State Rep or Senator or George P for Land Commissioner. Left them all blank. Two elections in a row that Cornyn hasn’t gotten our vote. Cornyn spoke at County Lincoln’s Day dinner two years ago. Great to see that lots of die hard Republicans expressed their displeasure by not standing up or joining in the applause when he was introduced.

I voted for Stockman in the 2014 Primary. Cornyn won, and I voted for him in the General, but I won’t do that again.

I know the feeling. I voted for McClintock for governor here in CA when we dumped Gray Davis, but he didn’t win in the primary so I voted for Arnold the Awful to my everlasting shame! The only thing Arnold was “good at” was banging his maid and knocking out a half-breed son.
