That makes sense if you are using their strengths, but not if you are grooming them for more responsibility.
I think Trump should put Cruz in a different capacity than AG. Cruz already has experience as an Associate Deputy Attorney General for the U.S. and solicitor general for Texas.
Cruz needs to round out his experience and improve his economic understanding. Cruz was policy planning director for the trade commission. I’m afraid for Cruz to be involved with trade again, until Trump pounds some common sense into him. But once Cruz gets straight on trade, maybe Commerce or Agriculture.
Maybe get Cruz involved with the state department to boost his foreign policy experience. I’m not sure where else I’d want him. Maybe let him clean up the VA.
Fiorina has business experience, she needs government and foreign policy as well.
Palin has government experience and does understand energy. She would be good as Sec of Energy, but you could use her anywhere.
