A victory by Edwards would be a huge embarrassment to Republicans in general and Bobby Jindal in particular.

Wish Vitter would have stayed in the Senate. He’s been good on illegal immigration and who knows what Louisiana will elect in his place. And even though Rubio has his great shortcomings, who knows what we’ll get from Florida to replace him.

Is it the case in Louisiana that if no candidate gets over 50% in the election that a run-off election is held?

I thought that’s the way it was in the Senatorial races in LA.

If so, it wouldn’t matter so much if the Dem has 29%, because in the run-off all the R votes would coalesce. Right, or not?

NFW ... Edwards used to be my Boss and trust me that sick twisted puppy has twice as many skeletons in his closet as both Clintons combined. (Bill was an amateur compared to Edwards)
Besides he is like a week away from croaking while shuffling up to a Press Conference behind his walker.

The election is October 24, 2015, with a runoff election on November 21, 2015,
if no candidate receives 50 percent + 1 of the vote.

This is LA and they use the Jungle Primary system where all candidates regardless
of party are listed on same ballot. If no winner in October the runoff
between the top two voter getters is then held.

Somehow I doubt that JOHN EDWARDS will get too far in LA.
