I think people can change and nobody is perfect. However, I don’t anybody goes from being an imperfect Democrat to a perfect conservative Republican.
Odds are he is not running anyway.
I’m totally for Cruz, but when it comes to Trump do you think he wants to go down in history as the second coming of Obama or the President who reestablished America on the right path?

Believe it when I see it. I like many of the things Trump says, and I thank him from the heart for having the ability and will to bring illegal immigration and other issues front-and-center. He’s lit a fire under the feet of the GOP, and that’s been a good thing.
That said, in the watch words of President Reagan: trust, but verify. Trump’s history as recently as last election keeps my spidey-sense tingling.
None of us really know if Trump is serious about being President. We know that with the other major candidates, but Trump could well have other ideas in mind. He may wish to play kingmaker, he may be playing lightning rod to take the media heat away from other candidates.
There’s even that chance he’s following a script, with the endgame being a third-party run designed to split the conservative vote. I don’t think that is likely, but neither do I dismiss it entirely. Saying “I never intended to run as an independent, but the actions of the GOP leadership towards me have been so outrageous...” is as easy as saying you’ll put Sarah and Gowdy in your administration.
Trust, but verify.
Fair enough. Time will tell.
He’s definitely got the strong ego and set of spheres we need to climb out of the mess the country is in now.
That is my read as well. His ego and need for adoration will drive him to complete his mission at at any cost. Could be great. Could be disaster.
I am a Cruz guy. But a great show is something to enjoy.
Well, not a Trump guy here, rather Cruz, but anybody pushing for Gowdy as Atty General is on the right track.

You need to mention, too, that Gowdy hasn’t come down on the Conservative side of many of the recent issues AND supported Boehher for Speaker.
