Married to a woman from Mexico and fluent in Spanish, Jeb Bush shares his Hispanic ties proudly. But he has also seen firsthand the painful side of discrimination.
In an interview conducted in Spanish with Telemundo, Mr. Bush, the former Florida governor who is running for president, explained the influence that Hispanic culture has had on his family and opened up about his sons first brush with racism.
Mr. Bush said that his son, George P. Bush, is brown-skinned and that as a child when he traveled from Miami to Ocala to play in a baseball game he was taunted because of it.

Kids tease each other about ANYTHING. Everything is a target for teasing. Freckles, ears (as odumbo can attest to), height, weight, teeth and the list is unending. Kids use teasing to break the ice and see what another kids is made of. Poor little born with a spoon in his mouth rich kid. Geez, we don’t need any more poor mouthing thin skinned whiners in the WH! Especially whiners that side with criminals.
The boys still played with me because my uncle gave me ball bearings....worth 10 times a glass marble. Man they wanted to win those away from me. God Bless my uncle who owned a machine shop.
