Ivana Trump once accused the real estate tycoon of ‘rape,’ although she later clarified: not in the ‘criminal sense.’ Donald Trump introduced his presidential campaign to the world with a slur against Mexican immigrants, accusing them of being “rapists” and bringing crime into the country.
“I mean somebody’s doing it!…Who’s doing the raping?” Donald Trump said, when asked to defend his characterization.
It was an unfortunate turn of phrase for Trump—in more ways than one. Not only does the current front-runner for the Republican presidential nomination have a history of controversial remarks about sexual assault, but as it turns out, his ex-wife Ivana Trump once used “rape” to describe an incident between them in 1989. She later said she felt “violated” by the experience.

If Clintons actual rapes didn’t matter in 1989, and his philandering in the oval office didn’t matter in 1997, then why does Trumps ex wife’s opinion of him matter from then?

Clinton was accused of rape and attempted rape. What went on between Trump and his former wife is not our business and has nothing to do with The work that Trump wants to do now on behalf of the American people.

Many on this site have been through a divorce; both male and female. First thing the attorney’s look for? Character assassination. It is leverage for down the line and most of what is said is so overblown it is ridiculous. Unfortunately I have seen a lot of people divorce and out of that lot only two couples that split ways amicably. All the others? War of the Roses and thousands of thousands of dollars into attorney’s pockets.
The old Ivana is slithering out now? Pretty early to be slinging that mud. Unless of course that is the Trump Campaign plan; bring it out early and then pull a Hillary; “That’s old news!” later and kick something back to Ivana..

Yep...these *ace* Dairy Beast *reporters* are merely regurgitating very old tabloid *news*.
Please don’t get me wrong, the demoncrats are capable of using this type of material to destroy the competition, but right now Trump is more of a problem for the GOPe than the democrats. If Trump gets the nomination then you can bet the democrats will be using this and anything else they can find to smear him with. Next we will probably start to hear about business deals gone bad, employees wrongly laid off, employees with cancer laid off and losing their insurance, and that sort of thing. Karl Rove always has pail full of crap, and he will use it all for the benefit Republican elite.
