The BSA has been in decline for years. I suspect this is a last-ditch attempt to bolster their finances through corporate donations, even as the organization becomes off-limits to any parent with an ounce of responsibility.

The BSA has been in decline for years. Only because it has gotten away from its grass-roots moorings. It has become a corporate behemoth, and is now addicted to the almighty dollar.
