They are doing this to undermine Trump's candidacy within the GOP. They are creating an issue to weaken Trump in the primaries. The not so subtle message is that you are wasting your vote on Trump who really will run as a third party candidate.

Rove has been pushing this meme for some time. And the NSM is aiding and abetting the effort. No other candidate is being asked the question and no doubt, every other Rep candidate would gladly sign the pledge. They really have no other choice. Trump does.
