Morning Plum: Big majority of GOP voters favors mass deportation, poll finds
Washington Post ^ | July 26th, 2015 | By Greg Sargent

This new poll finding, courtesy of CNN, is not all that surprising, but it is very illuminating of the demographic challenges the GOP faces right now: A big majority of Republicans believes that the government’s main focus on immigration should be not just on stopping the flow of illegal immigrants, but also on deporting those already here.

The poll asks:

I would have put it in breaking news except most of us knew it already.

This is the LAST thing the Washington Cartel wanted to see published.

Not really hard to figure out:

Use my tax money to deport illegal immigrants instead of finding jobs for federal felons!

If it distracts from the current economic issues for 12-18 months...I DON’T CARE.

Send them back, build a wall and lets MOVE FORWARD from there.

Let’s see how long it will take Lindsey Grahamnesty to blast the majority of Republicans wanting to deport illegal aliens as “un-American.”

Regarding mass deportations, shouldn’t this story really be saying that vast numbers of people want the law enforced? How would immigration law be enforced, if we really were enforcing such laws? Well, when people here illegally were discovered, they would be deported. Its simply a matter of enforcing the laws already on the books, in my opinion ion.

It’s democrat VoTErs that are the problem as all love government the media and want more government control . they are all marxist morons

I’m not GOP, but it sounds very good to me. Start with the Irish.

Large scale, all-out, massive, sweeping, balls to the wall and vast deportations please.

Simply enforce the existing immigration laws and they will self deport themselves in a tidy manner.

Read about “Operation Wetback” in the 1950s, under Eisenhower, the last president who cared about the border. With just a fraction of the manpower available today, immigration authorities began deporting, and when that started, an even greater number of illegals self-deported. When they see we are enforcing the law, they do that. Obviously now, we aren’t enforcing the law.

I’m not GOP, but it sounds very good to me. Start with the Irish.....Most, if not all, Irish, English, Italians, etc. became citizens UNDER law. If a reprobate like you can’t understand that, post on DU.

Back in the days before computers and the NSA spying, President Eisenhower managed to deport over three million illegal aliens in the quaintly named “Operation Wetback.” Those were the days when we were still a sovereign country led by real men who had just won a world war, before we became a nation of wusses afraid of offending anyone.

Years ago when Sonny Bono was a congressman from California some reporter asked him what he thought of "Illegal aliens."

To which he responded: "Well they're illegal, aren't they?"

Still cracks me up. :)

any discussion of actually building a wall?

Hardening the border?

seems this is more about antagonizing the illegal alien fraud vote.

Apparently you haven’t been in Boston where there are untold numbers od illegal immigrants from the Emerald Isle. They just fit in better.

Large scale, all-out, massive, sweeping, balls to the wall and vast deportations please.

This was once official policy. During the Eisenhower administration they had, and I kid you not, "Operation Wetback" that did exactly this.

Simply enforce the existing immigration laws and they will self deport themselves in a tidy manner.

Dry up the jobs and they will have to leave the same way they came.
