Maybe the two most pro-religious candidates, Ben Carson and Mike Huckabee, could be a problem, as would Carly Fiorina because she’s a woman and aggressive hits from Donald Trump — the only kind he knows how to make — could alienate prospective voters.
Today we’re enjoying watching Donald Trump go after pompous fools like John McCain and Lindsey Graham, and we’ll cheer if he finds a good pretext to annihilate Jeb Bush with his ill-gotten corporate millions; but we won’t be happy if he starts beating up on our favorites, particularly Ted Cruz, which he can be expected to do if Ted Cruz threatens to win the nomination.
