there are at least 11 million undocumented workers in the U.S. right now, and rounding them up for deportation is not a viable option.
WRONG.. simple city ordinance requiring YOU be legal in the U.S. to rent, own, or inhabit any residence..
Upon payment of property seizure for failure to comply.. Jail or both.. possibly a fine as well..
QUICKLY illegals will deport themselves.. no worries..
except for those “connected”.. that problem would next on the DOCKET..
and jail for anyone caught employing any of them.
That was tried near my home town. Fremont, Nebraska had a ballot on that very law.
Everyone from the local Catholic Bishop to the NAACP showed up. Hormel threatened to leave town (a large employer of illegals), and many other businesses protested. The kicker was when the police and State of Nebraska said they would not enforce the law.
It failed.
If that happens in a small town in Nebraska, you don’t have much chance.
Furthermore, break that 11 million down state by state, city by city, and suddenly you find manageable numbers that local authorities can deal with; with some supplemental manpower where needed.
“WRONG.. simple city ordinance requiring YOU be legal in the U.S. to rent, own, or inhabit any residence..”
EXACTLY what the government requires in MEXICO!
