A lot of people with troubled kids will take them out or they are kicked out of traditional schools and so they homeschool them. It isn’t homeschooling’s fault.
Was the kid on any psychotic medications? That seems to be one of the most common connections with these type killers.
That’s what I was thinking, too - a troubled kid removed from school. And possibly on medication.

Under one article somewhere online, someone was providing more info on the oldest killer. It sounded like psychopathy. Instead of paraphrasing what that person was posting, I’ll try to find it again and link it.
We homeschooled. For a few years I held a leadership role in our county support group. We began receiving calls from parents who told us that the school counselors were “suggesting” their child might benefit from homeschooling. In almost all those cases it turned out the child was way behind academically or was a troublemaker.
