They like to look to McVeigh and claim all these shooters are extreme right-wingers like he was. But there was no evidence he was that. There is evidence to the contrary.
McVeigh was a leftist. He spent time in this area of AZ. The few people that new him knew he was hard left because he was pretty open about it. The FBI searched many of the storage/rental places after the blast and it was common knowledge that they were looking for his connections to left wing terror groups, enviro groups like Earth First/ALF and such, in addition to the Leftist NAZI/White power outfits around here. Because the FBI told all those site owners./managers that when they opened the units up.
They also told them to be quiet about it. Few listened.
