Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), a 2016 GOP presidential candidate, delivered a brutal speech bashing his own party’s leadership’s failures on the Senate floor on Friday morning after Majority Leader Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) moved forward with a plot to reauthorize the Export Import Bank. In the speech, Cruz says—calling him out personally—McConnell lied to the entire Republican conference. Cruz’s speech stemmed from how McConnell—despite telling the entire GOP conference there was no such secret deal with the Democrats during the Obamatrade process to later bring up Ex-Im reauthorization—actually did cut a deal with Democrats, specifically Sen. Patty Murray (D-WA). “Today is a sad day for this institution,” Cruz said on the floor. .

We need to bring back dueling on the Senate floor. Then McConnell could be held accountable for his actions.
Sen. Cruz systematically took McConnell’s deception apart in a way that cannot be easily disputed or dismissed.
Of course, McConnell lied.
He is the LEADER of the GOP;
the arch LIAR of the GiveObamaPower party,
whose sole goal (and success) is lying to Americans,
lying to each other, and passing bills they
never read which were SECRET and against
the US Constitution.
Isn’t it odd that ‘Special’ Report tonight didn’t find that newsworthy.
Must be they got their panties in a knot because Rush made, (one of their own) Brit Hume look like a flunky for the Washington Cartel when he forecast what he would say about Cruz calling McConnell a liar.
That and they don’t want to give Cruz any coverage this close to their ‘moderate based’ debates.
There are only a few in the GOP Senate that aren’t pathological liars. It’s very sad that we gave this scum a majority.

Actually, as I’m sure you know, it isn’t since Fox is systematically ignoring anything Cruz says or does.
Since I am a huge Cruz fan I find myself watching less and less Fox News each day. They are not covering my guy so why waste my time.
I was pretty much down to 15 to 20 minutes of Bret Baier, the first half hour of Megyn and zero O’Reilly.
That’s not much but even that is on the verge of disappearing.
I don’t think Cruz went far enough. He should have called McConnell and his cohorts what they really are; “SPINELESS WHORES”. I would have, if I had a chance to describe these “REPUBLICAN ELITES”.
“Few” is absolutely the truth: Lee, Sessions, Cruz, Inhofe usually, sometimes Cotton, who else? We once had high hopes for the two NE senators.

I watched fox news most of the afternoon, (between naps) and I saw nothing about this.... This should be much bigger news then what it appears to be....
