Trump Looms Over First Republican Debate Of Primary Race

Amid preps for the 2016 primary season, Republican presidential contenders’ most pressing concern is Donald Trump.

The billionaire businessman has dominated the 2016 Republican race in recent weeks, and he threatens to do the same when the top 10 Republican candidates — as determined by national polls — face each other for the first time on national television. It’s a high-risk, high-reward event for candidates eager to stand out in a packed field in which Trump is playing the ultimate wildcard.

“It’s the No. 1 unavoidability,” said former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, a 2012 GOP candidate who had a knack for standing out in debates four years ago.

“Do not try to match him in anger and in aggressiveness. It’s not possible,” Gingrich warned Trump’s rivals. “He’s a very instinctively aggressive guy and if you try to dance with him on his strengths he’ll run over you.”

Every candidate who stays home is through. Anyone who isn’t up to debating Trump might as well stay home.

How cool would it be if only Trump, Cruz amd Walker showed up while the others stayed home in an act of “protest” against Trump being there!

Just step back and let yeb melt his own weaknesses. He has been drawing 100-200 to his events in one States while Trump is covered on three networks on national TV reaching ALL states spending very little

I would like to see the debate but no T.V so will not be able to.

I think one thing will be certain though and that is the news media will be the ones who decide the winners and losers of the debate.

And if they do not like the out come they will simply get some one to smear some ones name like they did Herman Cain in 2012.

Point is the republicans will nominate who ever the liberal media tells them to unless the voters quit listening to the media..

Our republic has gone down the drain because as the saying goes ( send a fool to college and have twice the fool )

We have sent the fools to college to get them away from us because they were no good for anything else, now they are running the country.

“I would like to see the debate but no T.V so will not be able to.”

This is one political debate that should be shown at a sports bar.

The big problem for his opponents is that Donald has now evolved into being one of the most trusted individuals in America.

That is an even bigger problem for Hillary.

Jbush was counting on the lesser candidates dividing up the voters so he could win with a name recognition plurality.

Trump as cashed in on the limited donor pool of jbush and relegated him to the status he planned for others.

The only way I am watching is if Trump is participating.

No desire to see the Uniparty debate itself.

Contact one with multiple TV’s you may find they would accommodate you. Particularly if you connected a drinking game or two to the viewing.
They could even advertise with free popcorn

Good idea but I would have to go almost a hundred miles to watch it, oh well when election time comes I will vote against the demos unless Zel Miller would run which won`t happen.

Yeb Boosh will think he walked into a propeller if he attempts a point-counterpoint with the new “Mr. T”
