TIME blames the GOP for blocking Obama from closing Gitmo yet when Democrats controlled Congress they defunded his plan to close the prison.

Assuming the Zero doesn’t give it back to Cuba, the next president can simply reopen it.
If he does give it away, there are some Aleutian rocks that are even more secure from escape.
