My favorite song is called, “When I Met the Master”, by the BOOTH BROTHERS. The harmony is just stunning .. so much so that Larry Gatlin (in the audience) was almost in tears.
I have it on video - play it over and over. Feeds my soul.
Isn't it amazing what music can do? Especially hymns. I'm in my rocking chair (didn't sleep all night) looking at my front window as the sky turns light from midnight blue. I played the video on You Tube: they cut it a little soon, but it was lovely! I've gotten to like hymns, especially by BJ Thomas. I love, "His Eye Is On The Sparrow" both his version and Ethel Waters'.
It's beautiful to think that this little speck in the universe is seen and loved by Our Creator- not made and forgotten, but known and loved. It's easy to forget that sometimes, but music like that, well, it's a gentle reminder! It's heartening as well to know that people out there are using their talents for something good and uplifting in a media-saturated world.
Thanks so much for sharing that! God bless you, and give you many quiet moments to spend close to Him!
Hugs,
Grateful
