I seem to remember also they tried to keep Alan Keys out of the debates years ago.

It irks me that some candidates think they have more of a right to run than someone else does. Who do they think they are that they are more special?

************
Those candidates are members of the professional political class and yes, they see themselves as entitled to run for higher office. Because politics is a “job” to them, it soon becomes more about their careers and less about good governance and the interests of the people. Our Founding Fathers never envisioned that one day the country would be run by professional politicians. This of course is a big problem for democracy.
