A senior Iranian government official has claimed Tehran has already successfully negotiated more than $2 billion-worth of trade deals with European companies, following last week's deal over its nuclear program.

"We are recently witnessing the return of European investors to the country. Some of these negotiations have concluded, and we have approved and granted them the foreign investment licences and protections," Deputy Minister Mohammed Khazaei told a conference promoting EU-Iran trade, according to Reuters.

"Even in the past couple of weeks we have approved more than $2 billion of projects in Iran by European companies," he said.

...and supposedly “good” conservatives supported the legislation that nearly guarantees the Senate ratifies this treaty because they were bought off by the US Chamber of Commerce.

Yeah, they'll be developing newer better centrifuges and refining processes... but don't worry, they'll stop at the 2% needed for medical use/research. Why, those same devices/processes would never be duplicated in secret and let run to higher percentages... :-/

Oh, but don't worry, if they do, we can inspect! Well, except for "military sites." Those have to be arbitrated or some such by a council - that Iran sits on. I'm sure they'd never delay any decision until they had a chance to move their gear.

The good news is their peaceful {cough cough} missile...er... "rocket" programs continue unabated. In fact they'll get a big infusion of cash from the 100 billion in un-frozen assets. Even more cash and technology will flow from trade deals...

Ditto their warhead engineering efforts. Nuclear weapons aren't just about the nuclear fuel. There's a fairly complex bit of gear wrapped around the radioactive part. These efforts also get a huge boost and they are even easier to disperse and conceal than the refining efforts.

The libtards think bringing Iran back into the international fold will reduce their sponsoring of terror. Ha! They just got billions with which to fund terror and increase their influence. This deal puts a match to the middle east tinderbox. Buy defense stocks now, endless war is coming. Particularly defense companies adept at international sales.

Exactly. I’ll bet the agreements have been drawn up for a few years already. Just needed signatures.
