80% of Republicans could want Trump. 80% of independents could want Trump. But the Convention will pick Bush anyway. You’ll see! I’m a Cruz guy, but they’ll never pick him.
Honestly, I’m backing him for now; but I’m still waiting to see.
He tends to ramble. If he goes off on a tangent during the debates, he’s going to lose people.
If he’s prepared and he can hold up on stage, he might surprise everyone.
Frankly, I’ve been shocked at the support that he’s gained over the last week. A week ago, I would’ve been one of the ones who would’ve said, “Nah.” Yet, here I am.
I’m seeing people pop up on more liberal websites for him. The arguments are actually pretty good.
And the more that the GOPe hits him, the stronger he gets.
The thing is, I’ve been burned before. We do a pretty good job at picking the candidate, but we can’t get them past the primary.
