At first, I wasnt going to post this news. But after reading the outrageous news that Army brass have instructed recruiters that legally armed civilians providing protective patrols should be considered as a possible security threat, I feel forced to reveal that our Army now considers us civilians as a possible enemy. Un Freaking Real

Yeah, I think the handgun and the basketball probably got crossed up there...
Misguided is a kind characterization.
I was going to say that the editor was drunk then I looked at my post and saw a misspelled word and I’ve only had 2 beers!

American citizens are obviously NOT the enemy Islamic terrorist are
Well...that’s a creative twist on Deflategate.
For some reason the Monty Python skit ‘How to defend yourself from a banana’ comes to mind.
Ah heck. Beat me to it.
Well I’m happy to say that the Army ass, er sorry Brass that put this out there is being ignored in some states.
In WV there are still civilians standing post with openly displayed weapons (AR-15’s in most cases) in front of recruiting centers.
That guy must be strong!!!
Yes, that is a good thing...
I’ve seen several recent news reports that armed civilians have extended protection to several more recruiter locations.

Mohammed in Chatanooga was a US citizen
If I’m working one of these places, anyone outside uninvited with a gun is a target
Agreed. Sounds like this guy had good intentions. They could have told him so while explaining to him why his gesture was not a good idea.
Perhaps they were following orders. I suppose it is entirely possible that they did not want to detain him but were worried that his attempt was some sort of set-up. With cell phone video everywhere, who knows what sorts of sting operations can be carried out?
Glad to hear that.
